The exterior filming location for the Banks family's mansion was not in Bel Air, but in nearby Brentwood (which is just as snazzy in its own right). The family mischief usually spearheaded by Will and Carlton took place on a sound stage at the renowned Sunset Gower Studios. Just recently the mansion was listed on Airbnb in honor of the 30th anniversary of the groundbreaking sitcom. Bookings sold out almost as soon as it was announced.
