Niagara Falls is a city in Niagara County, New York. Adjacent to the Niagara River and across from the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario, they were both named after the famed Niagara Falls which they share. Niagara Falls State Park is located in the City of Niagara Falls in Niagara County, New York. Recognized as the oldest state park in the United States, the park contains the American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls, and a portion of the Canadian Falls known also as the Horseshoe Falls.
