This replica bell was installed and dedicated on July 4, 1985, a gesture of peace from NSA (Nichiren Shoshu Academy). It hangs in front of the Honolulu City Hall, surrounded by the lush, tropical atmosphere of the Hawaiian islands. It's in the midst of popular landmarks, such as the Iolani Palace, the Honolulu Museum of Art, and the King Kamehameha Statue.
