Pu’u O Kila Lookout

Want a great view? If so, then the Pu'u o Kila Overlook is the way to get that view and if you want a great hike, check out what the Pihea trail offers. Located in Koke'e State Park, the Pihea Trail begins at the Pu'u o Kila overlook at the end of Highway 550 and skirts along the Kalalau Valley. If you have good weather, you can get a spectacular view down to the ocean. For the dedicated hiker, the trail would probably not present a significant challenge, but to the casual hiker, this may not be the case. It takes about two hours round trip to hike the trail.
