Barbers Point Lighthouse

Nestled along the southwestern shores of Oahu lies Barbers Point, offering serene ocean vistas and a hidden gem—the Barbers Point Lighthouse, named after Henry Barber, whose ill-fated ship "Arthur" met its tragic end on a nearby reef, claiming 28 lives. Despite the less-than-scenic route through an industrial area, reaching the destination involves taking the H1 West to Kapolei, exiting at Kalaeloa Boulevard, and following Olai Street to the beach park. While access to the lighthouse itself is unavailable, the area is a picturesque spot for sunset gazing and boasts excellent fishing opportunities. Adjacent to the beach park lies Germaine's Luau at Barbers Point Beach Park, where the sounds of music and occasional performances add to the area's charm.
