Situated in the heart of Schofield Barracks' National Historic District, the Tropic Lightning Museum served as the post library at Schofield Barracks. This museum displays the history of the 25th Infantry Division since its inception in October 1941. The museum exhibits the history of Schofield Barracks from its settlement by the Army in 1909 to the attack on Pearl Harbor and the museum's mission is to collect and preserve and exhibit all artifacts which reflect Schofield Barracks, the 25th Infantry Division, and the Wheeler Army Airfield. Admission is free.
