Pele's Chair

The Hawaiian goddess of fire and volcanoes has her own throne made of volcanic rocks. This massive natural formation is fit for an empress, perched on the Kaiwi Coast of Oahu's south shore. To get there drive to Makapu'u Lighthouse Road via Kalaniana'ole Hwy. Park at the traihead and then take the Kaiwi Shoreline Trail down to Alan Davis Beach. Once you reach the beach, Pele's Chair will be about 80 feet to your right.
