Barber Marina Fountain

A beautiful marble Italian Renaissance-style fountain is located in the roundabout in front of the marina. It's a triple-tiered fountain - lions, horses, and men inhabit the first, fish spray water from their mouths on the second, and Neptune presides over it all on the third. Although it's not an exact replica, it was influenced by the Neptune Fountain in Rome. The marina and the surrounding outdoor art was commissioned by billionaire philanthropist George Barber who made his fortune in real estate. (Photo by Corrie S)
