Description:
Fabulously quirky sculptures can be found at the Barber Marina - from elegant to wild and wacky. There's the giant scrap metal spider lying in wait or the driftwood carved into crab-shaped chairs. The eclectic collection also includes jumping dolphins, highly detailed giant seahorses, and even an alligator relaxing in the sun. There was once a "Lady in the Lake," but she was badly damaged in a storm and had to be removed. The marina and the surrounding outdoor art was commissioned by billionaire philanthropist George Barber who made his fortune in real estate.
