Court Square Fountain

The Court Square Fountain, also known as the Artesian Basin, is a historic cast iron fountain located in downtown Montgomery, Alabama. Installed in 1885, it was designed to provide clean drinking water from artesian wells to residents and has since become a symbol of the city's heritage. Serving as both a functional water source and a cultural landmark, the fountain has undergone restoration efforts over the years, contributing to the city's charm and serving as a focal point for community events and gatherings.
