Description:
Dismals Canyon is anything but dismal. The sandstone gorge is only a 1.5-mile easy hike complete with two waterfalls and six natural bridges. You can stay a few hours or overnight. For day visitors there is a cafe with an ice cream parlor. For overnight visitors there are cabin rentals - but they fill up fast so reserve them early.
