This unique church is singular for many reasons one of which is the striking colors on its Gothic Revival design. Another unique attribute is that it was twice disassembled and reassembled in different locations. Built in 1858 it went through a few congregational changes before becoming what it is now - a beautiful, abandoned church in the well-maintained Old Cahawba Archaeological Park. The park grounds are open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM.
