Boundary Roadhouse

Only a few old, rustic wooden buildings exist in Boundary one of which is this lodge which was one of the first roadhouses in Alaska. Boundary was never really a town - more like a brief stop for tired travelers looking for a drink, coffee, and some fuel. Today, the roadhouse marked by a set of moose antlers above the door frame is in the midst of old machinery and rubble. The road to Boundary is only open during summer.
