Description:

The Dalton Highway, also known as Alaska Route 11, is a remote and challenging road stretching 414 miles from Livengood, just north of Fairbanks to Deadhorse near the Arctic Ocean. It's one of the most isolated highways in the United States, passing through vast wilderness, tundra, and permafrost regions. The highway is named after James W. Dalton, a key figure in the early history of Alaska's development.
