Description:

At the North Rim of the Grand Canyon you'll find a popular viewpoint called Bright Angel. It's one of the easiest to reach because the viewing area is down a path that begins directly behind Grand Canyon Lodge. This point offers decent views of Roaring Springs Canyon to the east. The hike to Bright Angel Point Trail is an out-and-back trail offering the chance to see wildlife. The route is suitable for all skill levels. The paved trail is quite steep in a few places and at a high elevation (8,100 feet).
