Description:

Cowboy Club Grille & Spirits occupies a historic Uptown Sedona building that first opened in the mid-1940s as the Oak Creek Tavern, a local saloon and gathering spot. During the Western film boom of the 1950s and 1960s, it became a favorite hangout for actors and crew working on nearby movie sets. In 1965, it even hosted the first meeting that led to the formation of the Cowboy Artists of America, giving the site a special place in Western art history. After years of use, the building was restored and reopened in 1993 as Cowboy Club, preserving its rustic character while evolving into a full-service restaurant known for high desert cuisine.
