Description:

Although Wright designed the spire in 1957, Phoenix rejected the design. Their loss and they realized it almost a half-century later when Wright and his minimalist designs made a huge resurgence. In 2004, Phoenix finally approved the design and installation, although poor Frank didn't live to see it happen.
