Gila River Memorial Airport

Built in 1942, this private-use airport last saw a plane fly off its runway in 1983. Now, it's an "airplane boneyard" for dozens of aircraft manufactured at various times in the past and slowly disintegrating according to their own timelines. The airport is located on the Gila River Indian Reservation so be aware that you might be asked to leave.
