Grand Canyon Caverns

Saves: 85
Check-ins: 8
The Grand Canyon Caverns have had many names over the years since they were discovered in 1927 (you can quiz the tour guide as to how many times the caverns have been renamed). This is a dead cavern with a constant 56 degree temperature with a humidity of 6%. Water hasn't been present in the caverns for many years but the depressions in the limestone walls testify waterfalls existed. Lithified in these walls you'll also discover many fossils of prehistoric scallops, clams, and even a sea turtle! An average of 70,000 people visit the canyon annually.
