Description:

This hike is a 16-mile round trip to the confluence from the campgrounds (8 miles round trip from Beaver Falls) which will take an entire day starting at sunrise. This trail is not marked well so it's advisable to bring a GPS. Also, be sure to have your camping permit and reservations for the campgrounds because of high demand. You'll see beautiful orange hues of the canyon walls towering above the turquoise blue waters of Havasu Creek which meet at the Colorado River junction. Remember that you will have at least 10 creek crossings, so you should wear waterproof shoes instead of running shoes!
