Description:

It looks like a modern art sculpture but this smooth, crested formation is all natural! Made of sandstone, it was in the making 6 to 15 million years ago! Hole in the Rock is also a short distance from other not-so-natural landmarks such as the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and the Children's Museum of Phoenix.
