Description:
Living up to its name this artificial reservoir was created in 1927 with the construction of the Carl Pleasant Dam. Today, it's a major recreational destination for people in the Phoenix area. It includes a 10-lane boat ramp and plenty of parking for 200 vehicles. Activities include fishing, hiking, biking, and camping at one of the 165 campsites.
