Little Colorado River Gorge Overlook

An easy route takes you through a massive canyon that was carved out by the Colorado River. As you hike along the 0.9 mile out-and-back trail, you'll experience six million years all at once which is the approximate length of time this geological wonder took to form - seen from the striped colors visible on the walls of the canyon. The Little Colorado River joins the Colorado River several miles downstream.
