Homesteader and Mormon pioneer John D. Lee before he was executed in 1877 for his part in the Mountain Meadow Massacre. A number of structures from John D. Lee's era still remain such as his Ferry Fort, cabins, a stone ranch house, a cemetery, and old wagons. The area can get very hot, dusty, and dry, so bring plenty of water. (Submitted by Rajie Brown)
