Description:

The Rattlesnake Bridge is one of Tucson’s most unique landmarks, stretching 280 feet across Broadway Boulevard in the shape of a giant diamondback rattlesnake. Designed by local artist Simon Donovan and completed in 2002, the bridge serves as both a functional pedestrian and bicycle crossing and a striking piece of public art. With its colorful scales, massive rattling tail, and unmistakable Southwestern character, the bridge has become an iconic symbol of Tucson’s creative spirit.
