Description:
Rock Springs Cafe in Black Canyon City, Arizona began in 1918 when Ben Warner opened a general store at a natural spring stop along the rough route between Prescott and Phoenix, later adding a hotel and eventually evolving into one of Arizona’s oldest restaurants. The site was used long before that by Yavapai people, miners, cattle drivers and early travelers which helped make it a regional landmark. Over the decades it became especially famous for its pies, earning a reputation as the “pie capital of Arizona” with more than twenty varieties including favorites like bourbon pecan and fruit crumb pies. Today the menu also features classic American fare from breakfast biscuits and burgers to barbecue and Southwestern inspired dishes.
