Description:
Rusty Spur Saloon, nestled in Old Town Scottsdale, sits in a building that dates to 1921 when it first opened as the Farmers State Bank of Scottsdale. After the bank closed during the Great Depression, the space served as the city's first Chamber of Commerce office and later a real estate office. In 1951 the building was transformed into the Rusty Spur, now celebrated as Scottsdale's oldest bar, complete with its original bank vault repurposed as a beer and liquor fridge. Over the decades it has become a beloved local landmark known for its live country music, Western décor, and long list of visiting celebrities.
