Description:
A metal arch over Route 66 proudly proclaims the town's status as the access city to the Grand Canyon. Williams may not be world-famous by name, but it has a lot of history behind it, starting in 1881. For a truly memorable gorge experience try the Grand Canyon Railway which is about one mile west of the gateway arch.
