Vermilion Cliffs

Parfait-like layers of peaches and cream swirl around 280,000 acres in Marble Canyon. The Wave is one of the most striking landforms in the park - softly curving crests and troughs that is so popular that a daily lottery of 10 permits is held in order to prevent destructive foot traffic on its fragile sandstone.
