Description:

Originally known as "Montezuma Street," Whiskey Row was home to numerous saloons and gambling halls in the early days of Prescott. These establishments were frequented by miners, cowboys, and other residents of the area and they played a major role in shaping the town's culture and history. Over the years, many of the original buildings on Whiskey Row were destroyed by fires, but the district has been rebuilt and preserved as a historic landmark. Today, it's a popular destination for tourists and locals alike with a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars that pay homage to the area's wild west past.
