Description:

Although you won't find it in any Guinness Book of World Records, it's safe to assume that this 39-foot-tall statue might very well be the tallest Kachina doll ever. Kachina dolls are symbols of the Hopi people and were fashioned out of cottonwood. For their creation, Philip Sanderson and Carl Ludlow used a variety of materials, including clay, concrete, and steel. The finished product weighs around 14.5 tons and stands sentry for Tonto Hills.
