Blanchard Springs Caverns

This limestone cave system was once called Half-Mile-Cave. Exploration of the cave started in 1955 when a 1,000 year old skeleton of a Native American was found. A visit to this cave is a great summer activity where you can temporarily escape the Arkansas heat and humidity in its caverns that stay 58°F year round.
