Dogpatch USA Ruins

Based on the comic strip "Lil' Abner" Dogpatch USA was the South's version of a theme park. It had every kind of activity included in the stereotypical Southern lifestyle including trout fishing. The park opened in 1968 but closed in the '80s after hillbilly culture became passé. While you cannot trespass on the property you can make arrangements with the on-site owner to visit.
