Hot Springs National Park

Known also as the "Hot Springs of Ouachita," it was part of the famous transaction called the Louisiana Purchase. Along with the land acquired were these beautiful cascades that flow hotly down a mountain causing steam as they descend. The flow is even more spectacular in winter when the hot water and the ice cold air cause billowing clouds of thick fog to appear.
