Description:

This 12-foot statue represents the town's pride in its obsidian-colored mascot. A town of less than 500 (according to the last census), Ravenden had two raven statues before this one - both constructed of fiberglass. Unfortunately, vandals set fire to the last two. Learning its lesson, the town's third statue installed in 1996 is made of cement, stucco, and flame-retardant paint.
