Description:

White House Cafe in Camden, Arkansas opened in 1907 and is widely regarded as the oldest continuously operating restaurant in the state. Founded by Greek immigrant Hristos Hodjopulas, the café became a round-the-clock stop for locals and travelers and maintained its historic character as ownership changed over the years. Known originally for Kansas City style steaks, the menu grew to include hearty Southern comfort dishes like chicken fried steak, meatloaf, and smothered pork chops, along with popular Tex Mex items such as fajitas and enchiladas. Today it remains a beloved spot for classic American plates, fried fish Fridays, and generous homestyle sides.
