White Tank Petroglyph Plaza

Located on the Waterfall Trail, this beautiful historical site is known for the Hohokam petroglyphs. The Hohokam lived in this region from 500 to 1100 AD and the petroglyphs record important events in their history. To avoid the crowds, visit in the early morning or late afternoon. Be sure to stop at the visitor center first to get a map.
