The 6th Street Viaduct, also known as the 6th Street Bridge, is a 3,500-foot bridge in Los Angeles connecting Boyle Heights to the Downtown Arts District. Spanning the L.A. River, the 101 Freeway, local roads, and 18 railroad tracks. The new viaduct, designed by the HNTB-led team after winning an international design competition, accommodates both vehicles and pedestrians, preserving the bridge's historical importance. Additionally, it includes dedicated lanes for bicycles, ensuring a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics in the heart of Los Angeles.
