Abandoned Hi-Lo Gas Station

This gas station with a cafe was a stop for drivers coming to and from Nevada as recently as 1993. Now covered in graffiti the building seems to be returning to the earth. You don't have to try very hard to imagine that you're in some post-apocalyptic world as there isn't too much of civilization in these parts. (Photo by Christine Peeples)
