Amizetta Vineyards

In 1979, Amizetta and Spencer Clark embarked on their dream to craft world-class wines by purchasing a steep, rocky 40-acre hillside property in Napa Valley's Conn Valley, near Howell Mountain. Inspired by Europe's premier hillside vineyards, they chose this south-facing site for its ideal conditions for cultivating top-tier Cabernets and Bordeaux varieties. Situated at an elevation of 1,000 feet, the vineyard boasts breathtaking views of Lake Hennessey, Pritchard Hill, and San Pablo Bay, with a soil composition of red and grey "sobrante loam." The Clarks immediately recognized the potential of this location to realize their vision of producing exceptional wines.
