Description:

This five-acre aquarium on Long Beach’s rainbow harbor boasts some pretty cool attractions, if marine biology is your thing. It’s got galleries showcasing three regions of the Pacific Ocean—SoCal and Baja, Northern Pacific, and the Tropical Pacific—a lagoon where you can actually touch sharks and stingrays, a penguin habitat full of dapper birds, a jellyfish exhibit (super cool), and more. Definitely worth a trip for those who’ve never been.
