Description:

Three acres of Caltrans-owned land has been designated to preserve the natural Pasadena flora. Visitors love it because it is a refuge for people and leashed pets alike, as well as delicate winged wild creatures such as bees, birds, and butterflies. It's also home to an orange grove from which these sweet citrus fruits are picked, turned into marmalade, and sold locally in different markets around the Southland. The gardens are open daily from 8 to 6 and admission is always free! (Submitted by Brenda Rios)
