Avenue of the Giants

This 31.6-mile scenic highway is named for the ancient colossal trees that line either side of the road. It runs through Humboldt State Park and is also the site of the annual marathon that is held each May. To get the full experience make sure you have enough daylight to enjoy the beauty of the forest.
