Balclutha Square-Rigged Ship

The Balcutha, (a.k.a. the Pacific Queen or Star of Alaska) was built in Glasgow, Scotland in 1886 and happens to be the only square-rigged ship remaining in the SF Bay area. In her heyday, Balcutha carried all manner of cargo (grain, wine, coal, fish etc.), but she’s probably most well known for appearing in the film Mutiny on the Bounty starring Clark Gable and Charles Laughton.
