Description:
The distinctive caves of Pinnacles National Park were formed from boulders piled on mountain slopes. The openings of the stacked boulders give way to these talus-type caves. The hike is moderate - approximately a 2.5 lollipop loop that takes you through the natural history of volcanic rock formations. The most direct route to Balconies Cave is from Chapparal Trailhead.
