Bean Hollow State Beach

This beach is unique for its tide pools which provide a safe haven for marine inhabitants such as sea urchins, crabs, and anemones. Fishing and picnicking are also popular pastimes here although swimming is prohibited due to the dangerously strong surf. While you can explore the beach and its creatures, it's forbidden to take shells, driftwood, animals, or anything else. Dogs are not allowed. Hours are daily, 8 AM to sunset.
