Beastie Boys' G-Son Studios

In the L.A. enclave of Atwater Village, an unused recording studio is where the Beastie Boys made their 1992 album "Check Your Head." Originally from New York, the Beastie Boys often visited L.A. even though they were known for their East Coast rap. Sadly, the group disbanded after core member Adam Yauch's death in 2012.
