Behrens Family Winery epitomizes the essence of a boutique winery. Les Behrens and Lisa Drinkward, the proprietors with a rich history of crafting wines under the Behrens & Hitchcock label since 1993, oversee the production of a limited number of six or seven wines annually. Nestled atop Spring Mountain in Napa Valley, the winery meticulously crafts each wine as a low-tech labor of love. From crushing in one-ton T-bins to hand-punching down, gentle barrel transfer, and bottling unfined and unfiltered, every step reflects a dedication to craftsmanship and quality.
