Description:

An amusement park is lovely but an oceanfront amusement park is unbeatable. What better way is there to spend an afternoon than to ride roller coasters with a view of the Pacific? The most famous ride is the Giant Dipper, a designated historic landmark that was built in 1925. The wooden roller coaster is structurally sound and has not suffered any problems to this day even though it is fast approaching its centennial. You can plan your visit for any time of the year; San Diego's perfect climate allows the park to be open year-round.
