Description:
The trail to Big Baldy starts at the Big Baldy Ridge Trailhead just off of Generals Highway. It's approximately 6 miles out and back and gains approximately 2,400 feet in elevation, making it a challenging hike that requires a good level of fitness and stamina. The trail is steep and rocky in places with some sections requiring scrambling over boulders and loose rocks. Big Baldy stands at an elevation of 8,209 feet.
